Updated September 13, 2026, this Caustic Soda price report compares FOB and FCA procurement-planning indications across 31 validated producer-led and commercially relevant export markets. Coverage is screened against the latest complete 2024 HS 281511 and HS 281512 trade data, then restricted to locations with active production or a verifiable re-export role and a practical FOB/FCA handover. Germany, Czech Republic, Oman and Qatar are added in this final hub review. Current displayed bands run from about USD 260–860 per metric ton or dry metric ton, depending on product form and market convention. Named September FOB offers are used where publicly available; other rows are recalibrated planning ranges. The Iran section follows its dedicated August 27, 2026 snapshot. All figures are non-binding and require RFQ confirmation before contracting.

Methodology and Commercial Scope
Hub selection
Hub selection follows one consistent test. First, the latest complete 2024 HS 281511 and HS 281512 export data are screened for material trade. Second, active chlor-alkali production or a current re-export role must be verifiable. Third, the location must support a commercially meaningful FOB seaport or FCA plant, terminal or border handover. Germany, Czech Republic, Oman and Qatar pass this test and are added in this edition. Qatar is shown only for producer-verified 50% liquid caustic soda; solid re-export evidence is not converted into a producer row because grade and packing could not be verified to the same standard.
Price construction
Prices are refreshed from public information available through September 13, 2026. Direct named-hub offers are used where published, including current Mersin and Jebel Ali FOB container indications. Other rows are non-executable procurement-planning bands calibrated against September regional indices, producer specifications, recent trade evidence, packaging, product form and hub handling. USD/MT and USD/DMT must not be compared directly.
